Building Your Skills. Boosting Your Independence.

At Care 4 Community, we believe that true independence isn’t just about getting things done – it’s about having the confidence to do them yourself. Our Assistance with Daily Living isn’t just a helping hand; it’s a pathway to self-sufficiency.

Whether you need support to manage your morning routine or want to learn how to budget for your weekly groceries, our qualified staff are here to support you in the comfort of your own home and community.

More Than Just Daily Chores

We take a holistic approach to your daily life. While we assist with practical tasks, we also focus on the “soft skills” that help you thrive in society – like problem-solving, emotional regulation, and effective communication.

Our goal is simple: To provide the right mix of support and skill development so you can live the life you choose.

Our Support Services

  • We offer flexible, one-on-one support seven days a week across Cranbourne, Frankston, and Clyde. We tailor our assistance to match your specific NDIS goals.

Master the essentials of running your own life.

  • Personal Hygiene: Support with showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • In the Kitchen: Learning to plan meals, shop for ingredients, and cook nutritious dishes safely.
  • Household Management: Developing routines for cleaning, laundry, and garden maintenance.
Financial Literacy: Assistance with budgeting, handling money, and paying bills on time.
  • Getting Around: Travel training to use public transport (trains, buses, trams) confidently.

2. Digital & Communication Skills

Stay connected in a modern world.

  • Technology: Learning to use computers, the internet, and smart devices safely.
  • Communication: Building confidence in speaking up, making appointments, and managing social interactions.
  • Decision Making: Support with critical thinking and problem-solving for everyday challenges.

3. Emotional & Social Wellbeing

Growth that goes beyond the physical.

  • Stress Management: Techniques to handle anxiety and regulate emotions.
  • Relationships: Building healthy boundaries and fostering positive connections with friends and family.
  • Self-Care: Developing habits that support your mental and physical health.

Active Support: Doing With You, Not For You

Our approach is based on *Active Support*. This means we don’t just come in and take over. Instead, we work alongside you, breaking tasks down into manageable steps so you can learn at your own pace.

Step 1: We identify the goal (e.g., “I want to cook spaghetti”).

Step 2: We break it down (Shopping, chopping, cooking).

Step 3: We support you where you struggle and cheer you on where you succeed.

Your Life, Your Schedule

Whether you need support at home, at school, at work, or for leisure activities, we are flexible.

  • Morning & Evening Routines
  • School or Work transitions
  • Weekend Socialising
